Remaining, resting and residing in Christ produces a most prolific, productive and peaceful life.
His outward workings i.e. His manifesting Himself through us,
His inner working produces within us love and its cluster of attributes. Joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. meekness, temperance..." Galatians 5:22-23
His outward workings manifested through us in demonstration of His life and liberty. "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."
1 Corinthians 12:8-11.
This kind of love describes the character of God, for God is love. Apostle Paul got a revelation of God’s true self, and expressed it in a letter that he wrote:
“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 AMP
Joy naturally arises as a by product from remaining in love. To live in God's kind of love is to live as God does. Whenever we walk in love—whether by giving to a worthy cause or receiving one of God's gifts, those unexpected blessings, “God surprises” —joy is always present. Rejoicing in every circumstance and season, rooted in the unchanging nature of God's love, goodness, mercy, grace, and peace, demonstrates a growing life that abides in Christ.
Peace, like joy, arises as a result of abiding in love, for God is love. The peace that comes from God surpasses any challenging circumstances one may face. This sense of peace enables the believer to remain composed and focused even during dark and difficult times. One can place trust in God’s guidance, confident that His presence, power and provisions shall support and will be present throughout life's challenges. Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the affirmation of His presence in the midst of the storm.
Karma is a concept in Hinduism that refers to the law of cause and effect. It holds that every action has consequences, either in this life or the next. Hindus believe that by doing good deeds and avoiding bad ones, they can improve their karma and achieve a better rebirth.
